Oil based cleansing balms use emulsifier based surfactants instead of detergent based surfactants. Some detergents can leave already dry skin feeling equally as dry after washing. With emulsifier based surfactants they still have the ability to cleanse, while providing moisturizing properties at the same time!

Ingredient Breakdown:

Cetearyl Alcohol: This is the main emulsifier that powers the cleansing benefits in the formula. This ingredient is highly moisturizing and shouldn't be mistaken as a drying alcohol.

Cetyl Alcohol/Stearic Acid: Co-emulsifiers. Both provide intense moisture to your skin, while helping keep the formula lightweight and easy to wash off. These ingredients are very gentle, perfect for sensitive skin.

Shea Butter: One of the best natural moisturizers for all skin types. Way too many benefits to name! :)

Castor Oil/Grapeseed Oil: Castor oil is a humectant which will draw hydration into your skin. Both are non-comedogenic, rich in vitamins, anti inflammatory, & help balance oily skin/oil overproduction.

Vitamin E: Antioxidant that protects your skin from environmental stressors. Also helps to prolong the formulas shelf life.

THIS FORMULA IS PRESERVATIVE FREE. DO NOT INTRODUCE ANY WATER INTO JAR OR TOUCH BALM WITH WET HANDS!

Directions: Scoop out dime sized amount with DRY hands. Rub the balm all over your face, then wet your face and lather the balm until it turns into a cream texture. Rinse.

Ingredients: Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Cetyl Alcohol, Cetearyl Alcohol, Stearic Acid, Polysorbate 60, Tocopherol (Vitamin E).
